Interactive Effects of Admixtures on the Compressive Strength Development of Portland Cement Mortars

The interaction effects of four chlorine-free admixtures such as calcium formate (CF), triethanolamine, (TEA), triisopropanolamine (TIPA), and sodium sulfate (SS) on the compressive strength development Portland cement mortars were investigated based design experiment (DoE). results showed that both addition CF SS contributed significantly to at early curing age. However, could hinder their respective positive effect 1 d. At later ages, was still beneficial in improving late cement, but had a negative 28 A TIPA found 3 interactive sufficient offset d if dosage exceeded 2%. In addition, TEA influence 7 until turning point reached optimum approximately 0.013%.
